This standard is the first international standard for the Internet of things in China's smart retail industry and the world's first international standard for the application of the Internet of things in the electronic label system. The release of this standard fills the gap in the industry and provides a standard support for the standardized development and technological upgrading of the industry. In addition, according to the data, by the end of 2021, BOE smart retail solutions had been implemented in more than 30000 stores in more than 60 countries around the world.
