LG launched a number of new TV products in Taiwan on June 29, including a new generation of OLED TVs, such as the 88 inch model with 8K resolution, and it is predicted that there will be 97 inches in the fourth quarter. There are also qned TVs with new technologies and OLED objet series like paintings and works of art.
In 2022, LG's OLED TV series will span 42-97 inch different models. The whole series will upgrade the fifth generation A9 image processing chip, increase the brightness by 20-30% through the intelligent brightening engine, and have AI dynamic color adjustment technology to cut the screen into 5000 blocks. More detailed local adjustment will create a wide color gamut and contrast. It is equipped with double Dolby (full field sound, visual field) specifications and sound effect simulation to support 7.1.2 channels.
OLEDs are mainly divided into Z2 Zunjue series, which provide 8K and 88 inches. G2 is 4K OLED Evo panel, with a total of 55, 65, 83 and 97 inch models expected to appear in the fourth quarter. The C2 series of low-priced models are available in 42, 48, 55, 65 and 83 inches.
In addition to OLED screen, LG also launched "qned" TV, which uses miniled panel and combines quantum dot and nano cell nanotechnology to make the color more saturated and achieve 100% color capacity and color consistency. With the small size of miniled, it has more precise light control technology than traditional LCD TV, and can upgrade 4K films to 8K image quality through A9 processor.
Aiming at consumers who pay attention to design aesthetics, LG introduced the LG objet Collection Series in Taiwan for the first time. It has a 65 inch 5-degree tilt and zero gap design. Compared with the traditional TV, it is more like a picture sitting in the room. It can be switched to the "Ai picture frame" mode. The screen is covered by the cloth baffle customized by the famous textile brand kvadrat. Only a small piece of the screen is left at the top for displaying time and playing music. It can be fully expanded when necessary.
